I havent put any of my newer poems up here in a WHILE...have fun reading! ^.~
Falling Stars
It doesnt look like a soft landing,
Are you falling hard or hardly falling?
Are you falling in or out, left or right?
One brief second, you light the night.
* I glittered in your eyes so brightly,
You dreamed of me nightly.
Falling stars don't fall lightly,
The plummeting star was me.*
I loved you from the sky,
Watching your smile from on high.
Your sleeping face kept me company,
But with a kiss you forgot me.
Now through black clouds I fall,
Closing my eyes to hear your call.
To crash into warm, red sand,
To wait for someones loving hand.
*chorus*
Dim now I sleep emotionless,
Waiting for rebirth in a kiss.
Love failed me and I fell,
Waiting for time to break the spell.

Foolish Lover
If being in love with you,
Means that I am a fool,
I don't want to be wise or smart,
I just want to be wrapped in the arms of your heart.
If being in love with you,
Means that I'll always cry,
I don't want to be happy again,
Because seeing you happy is the happiest I've ever been.
If being in love with you,
Means that you'll love another now,
Then I'll wait forever to be in your life,
I'll wait forever to be your wife.
If being in love with you,
Means that I can never be yours,
I'll still love you, because that's what I do best,
And being in love with you is being truly blessed.
I never want to be without you,
Foolish as it may seem,
Because you'll never love like I do,
And all you are is a dream.

You live so far away,
To get to you I have to get up.
Don't you think we should go?
I don't want to wake from my day dream.
If you were here we'd watch Zatoichi,
Five minutes in you'd kiss me.
Love is blind, so are we,
We have hands, we don't need to see.
I'd tickle you because I love to hear,
You laughing at nothing.
You'd tickle me, just to steal,
Touches that seem to mean so much.
We'd settle down and hold tight,
Close our eyes and try to sleep.
I don't want to say good night,
But it's better than saying goodbye.
When you told me you loved me,
You expected nothing in return,
But if you had, did I exceed?
Did I give too much to you?
If you were here, we'd watch Zatoichi,

So much clearer, I see your face,
I wished for that once under the moon.
